1st Imathia Gastronomy Festival

The Chamber of Imathia, in co-organization with the Regional Unit of Imathia, the Municipality of Veria, the Municipality of the Heroic City of Naoussa, and with the participation of the Municipality of Thessaloniki, invites you to a unique gastronomic journey to the land of Imathia.

Imathia, a place with deep historical roots and an inexhaustible culinary wealth, is hosting for the very first time a two-day festival dedicated to its local flavors, traditions, and cultural identity. Young and old alike will have the opportunity to discover authentic products, traditional recipes, aromas, and experiences that connect the past with the present.

Activities

(Activities will take place in parallel on both days of the festival)

17:30 – 18:30: Science meets culinary art! Specialized presentations by nutritionists and food technologists on the connection between health, quality & taste.

17:30 – 21:30: Beloved TV chef Vassilis Kallidis tours the festival stalls, tasting, cooking, and presenting delicious creations in his unique style. Both children and adults will take part in interactive cooking activities, where local tradition meets creativity.

Together with our little friends, chef Vassilis Kallidis prepares authentic dishes of Imathia, reminding us that cooking is above all the joy of sharing flavors and creating memories!

Concert with Dimitris Basis

On Sunday, September 21 (21:30 – 23:30), the gastronomic journey concludes melodiously with the wonderful Dimitris Basis and Vicky Karatzoglou!
